Student Teacher Dance Camp
Pre-Advanced / Advanced level AND 13 or above
July 14-18 - 8:30 am - 5:00 am daily - $100
Push your dance technique to the next level while learning what it takes to be a Turning Pointe Assistant! Teacher's Assistants are role models in the studio. They help teachers in class, assist other dancers at community performances and events, and help with choreography. This is a great responsibility and wonderful opportunity for our advanced, older dancers. To enroll in this camp, you must be at least 13 and enrolled in classes at the PA and Advanced level. Students in this class will act as Camp Leaders and Show Producers for our Dance Campers. They will learn teaching techniques, choreography skills and work with the Dance Campers as peer leaders. This camp is training for a potential junior job position at the Turning Pointe Dance Studio. Dance and learn to teach dance!!
All Campers produce and perform in our great Camp Show at Thespian Hall on our final day – Friday, July 18 - 3:00!
